About RigMyFish
RigMyFish was built around a simple problem: anglers often know the fish they want to catch and where they are fishing, but still have to piece together a rig from long articles, videos, and scattered gear lists. This site puts the setup first.
Fast answers, then deeper guidance
The interactive matcher gives a clear first recommendation. Rig pages show the line, leader, hook, weight, spacing, and diagram. Species pages connect that rig to bait and seasonal context. Longer guides explain why one setup fits a condition better than another.
Built as a connected reference
Species, rigs, rods, knots, and baits are linked rather than treated as isolated articles. That makes it easier to move from a fish to a rig, from the rig to the knot, and from the knot back to the gear you need.
Free and practical
The core guides are free and do not require an account. The goal is to make the setup understandable before you leave for the water or while you are standing in a tackle aisle trying to remember what to buy.
